PM Najib for the first time said UMNO is in crisis not the Nation

Najib has to sack the entire lot and replace them with people who are not only capable but will not stab him in the back as well. Then Najib has to introduce reforms in both Umno and the government. Only then can Umno hope to win back the support of the voters.

Perkasa not Umno tool, fumes Ibrahim Ali

Uninspiring and uninspired as they are, they have been loyal soldiers  Ibrahim Ali, if Perkasa is not UMNO's tool, then why is it funded by UMNO-BN government? Yes, like you said, you all will criticise Umno when necessary. That's when Perkasa gets their payment from their master late. is boiling with rage because UMNO has turned against him. Ku Nan gave PERKASA a tongue lashing over their objection to the Hindu temple’s direction in Putrajaya. Nobody imagine this could happen before where PERKASA and Ibrahim Ali acted and spoke with impunity. He even suggested the burning of the Bible. During one of his trials he was in full view leisurely having a tea tarik. But now he is at the wrong end of UMNO's stick, and Teresa Kok rightly said so that before he was the spokesman for UMNO on issue which UMNO did not have the political will to say. Well, Malaysians are watching with glee the fallout effects of UMNO civil war and Ibrahim Ali looks like is beginning to feel the heat.

the war in Umno has escalated with former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad adamant on adding another scalp to his collection continues to gain traction. that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak appears to be putting up a strong fight.

– “I must admit that I do support their views. Especially when it comes to reacting against extremist views of the non-Malays. Kadir Jasin’s recent comment that to save Umno Najib must go is a classic case of living in denial. It is like some saying that for Pakatan Rakyat to win the next general election Anwar Ibrahim must retire and hand power to someone else. the theory that for Umno to stay in power Najib must go and a new leader must take over and for Pakatan Rakyat to take power Anwar must go and a new leader must take over cannot be correct. It has to be one or the other. It cannot be both. to Umno. Kicking out Najib will not bring back 90% of the Indian voters, 80% of the East Malaysian voters, 70% of the Chinese voters, and 60% of the Malay voters. More than that needs to happen.

Kadir has always hated Najib from back in the days when the former was the head of NST. Hence it is natural that he criticises Najib. He has always criticised Najib from way back. Only that today he has been given the ‘passport’ to whack Najib to kingdom come.
Is Kadir really concerned about the future of Umno? Umno has been rotting from the days that Kadir was heading NST. Why did he not tegur Umno then? Kadir knows that the problem with Umno is Umno itself. People are disgusted with Umno. Never mind who leads Umno. Whether it is Muhyiddin Yassin, Hishammuddin Hussein, Zahid Hamidi, Khairy Jamaluddin, or whoever, this is not going to change how people feel about Umno.
Hence Kadir is fooling himself if he thinks that by kicking out Najib Umno is going to rule up to the year 3030 or beyond. Or maybe he is trying to fool us instead. What were these people doing when the Prime Minister was away to meet the US President? Are you saying that without Najib nothing can happen? Najib is not singlehandedly running Malaysia. There are more than 1.5 million civil servants, many who are in the Cabinet and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
It appears like they all left Najib to take the rap. The Umno Secretary-General and the Umno Information Chief both stood aside and allowed Najib to take all the heat.

Existential crisis grips UMNO

UMNO resurgence largely rests on how Najib  an objective assessment of his government warrants a substantial course correction. Otherwise the party’s prospects will be damaged
You had danced around on stage during the  Mahathir's  movement deriding politicians of all hues and demeaning yourself in the process. You made copious tweets attacking individual politicians and their parties for everything from religion, to political parties not coming under to disclosing sources of funding, to dynasty politics. You have been biding your time on the sidelines claiming to be a-political, perhaps with the ulterior motive of keeping your options permanently open.  movement is all but finished. Generals,  have hopped on to Najib's gravy train and returned to running their respective empires. PAS and other naive leaders who believe that conscience and  idealism still  have a place PAS is a dead horse and you have much animosity towards them for their machinations that virtually ended your professional career. You have nowhere to turn and you have no strong principles or values that prevent you from making self-serving choices designed to further your hunger for power.
Najib and his gang
It appears that Najib has discretely issued a memo to many that UMNO will soon be shutting its doors and the time to board the bus is running out for Mahathirist
With both proactive and pre-emptive measures, has turned the battle for um into the mother of all personality contests. An objective assessment of this government warrants a substantial course correction. Otherwise the party’s prospects will be damaged . If you are one of those in politics or dabbling at its fringes and don’t know where you are headed, here are a few signs that will help you discover that you are headed You were a part of Mahathir's movement. By virtue of this, you landed several times on TV debates and yelled and screamed but had little of substance to say. Nevertheless you are a known face – famous for being famous. But now, you badly miss the limelight. With Mahathir's movement movement gone, you have nowhere to turn. You are not a mass leader by any stretch of imagination.  You have antagonized Najib leadership and your are of little value to most other political parties. You take stock of your USP and think “if I can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”
Being reactionary and pro-active are two separate ball games. In one, you are controlled by your emotions and conscience takes a backseat. In the other, you don’t need to  things lying down but there is a much larger picture and context in which the situation is seen and your actions are no-nonsense and firm, but also positive and focussed on solutions. Do you want nastiness, pain and negative thoughts and emotions to rule you and the situation interminably or would you rather simply free yourself through positive action and not perpetuate the cycle? Opt out of the cycle and say, “Because you have done something wrong isn’t a reason for me to become someone I’d rather not be”. The quality of your life and personality is not shaped by what happens to you, but by your reaction to it.
The country is not in crisis despite the alarming drop in global crude oil prices and the national currency, says Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

"We are not in crisis. This is not like 1997 or 2009, when we needed stimulus packages for our economy," Najib said in a special address on the country's economy in Putrajaya today.
