Mahathir plays a suave conman in UMNO
The best indication that Mahathir is, as he was, the King con from the number of comments that people make in "Readers' Feedback" to any or every article about him.Megatheft, that’s the trick.victories against the system
Have you seen how banks take back their loans? So, tell me, when the multimillion bucks disappear where do they go? No way they’d fit into the second pocket of a pair of jeans.

Scorned and distrusted for misdeeds and machinations against the people
Some 160 Umno division chiefs are gathering in Putrajaya to show support for party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak's leadership, a move seen as reflecting that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's latest salvo against the prime minister is not finding resonance in the party.

The doctor you go to, and whom you trust literally with your life, is probably totally ethical. However, the medicines Mahathir prescribes for you, in all good faith, could end up harming you much more than helping you.How come? Because often by a deliberate distortion of facts.demanding PM Najibf’s resignation, is particularly afflicted by this seeming conflict between his duty and the pleasures of his wife PM is aaffected by this bug Rosmah. Male spouses of powerful women, are prone to leverage their position, to their advantage in business thereby potentially wrecking the woman-politicians career. There are very few “Power Couples” like the Clintons, who have perfected the “art of living and thriving together”said mahathir

Samson, the mythical Israeli, who was born with the strength to rip apart a lion with his bare hands, loses it all, when Delilah, an unreliable female “partner”, in whom he confides that the source of his strength lay in his long hair, cuts them off, in exchange for “blood money” from his enemies, whilst he is asleep.
Possibly learning from Samson,
Tun Musa Hitam has promised to make startling revelations in his upcoming book about the illicit pressures he faced from Dr Mahathir
in his latest interview with The Malaysian Insider, said that the Tun "will not be satisfied until there is a clone of himself in the seat of power."
Come on, as it is, I do not think Prime Minister, Najib Abdul Razak needs the support of Mahathir in the first place. It is the latter who is in the delusion that he is still in power.
Dr Mahathir has not realised that his influence has waned over the years, not because of Opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim, who prefers to forgive him for the wrongs done to him, but because of his "self-destruct" mode.
A good indication is clear that Mahathir had in fact lost his own support from the people is when he himself went to the ground to support Perkasa president, Ibrahim Ali who contested on a Barisan Nasional / UMNO seat. PAS won the seat.
Another of his supporter, Zulkifli Noordin also lost in the Shah Alam constituency despite being "endorsed" by Mahathir.
was similarly marred by bitter power feuds, rival centres within UMNOScorned and distrusted for misdeeds and machinations against the people

Mahathir, as an octogenerian, should continue to live like most other statesmen would do. If he continues to be the 'rascal' that he was during the days of the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, he will end up being maligned by many Malaysians.
Tunku had once said that if Mahathir was allowed to join UMNO, he would destroy the good culture of UMNO. Is this not prophetic in a way, as many of us have also lost our respect for the organisation that Mahathir had established in 1987, shortly after the old UMNO was disbanded.
So, I hope Mahathir will keep to the status quo and allow Najib to do his job. Let the prime minister do his job. It is enough that Malaysians keep check on his excesses, but as a former prime minister, Mahathir should learn to keep quiet.
Umno leaders had also responded to Dr Mahathir's criticism although in a diplomatic manner as they were mindful of how his attacks on Abdullah led to the latter's resignation in 2009.
Umno is being circumspect with Dr Mahathir but the division leaders want to say that they are happy with Najib,

Datuk A. Kadir Jasin thorts Arrogance of Power and Some Shady Deals have lead to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ’s eventual political demise
Disclosures are not the first — and may not be the last — account emerging from the inner circle shedding light on the equally enigmati A. Kadir Jasin ’s last scene is being repeated in reverse: some of the chalk is rubbing off, giving us a glimpse into what humanises what makes them tick. This is a tale of human frailty we can instantly understand. The rest of it — the ‘inner voice’ and renunciatory halo in which this was dressed up — is just politics. Much of politics is projection of an illusion — the chalk face of a virgin queen is hardly the first, nor the last, practitioner of politics in this sense Najib.have more control over party and government than Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had there will be many people to corroborate this aspect of contemporary UMNO culture: that people were not encouraged to speak up assuming power without responsibility — as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad did — is a feudal and authoritarian form of control was sworn in as PM after tortuous negotiations. renounced power, but tried to keep the seat warm for his son. he wanted to have the cake and eat it too.Mukhriz Mahathir too warmed to this game and emerged as a modern Hamlet, playing hide-and-seek with responsibility.
The country tired of this game and eventually pulled the rug from under UMNO’s feet. Najib able to usher in a style of governance that’s genuinely modern rather than feudal? Or will we see the remnants of UMNO consensus on which Rosmah lipstick is daubed, to cadge a phrase from fellow commentator Well, UMNO still has Anwar as a option.readmore http:// themalaybusinesstribune. blogspot.com/2014/08/datuk- kadir-jasin-thorts-tun-dr.html
