What a liar Zahid is

Owen Honors, Captain of the Norfolk-based USS Enterprise, was revealed as the producer of a series of "raunchy" videos made aboard the Navy carrier several years ago in a report released by theVirginian-Pilot on Saturday.
Filmed in 2006 and 2007 when Honors was the Enterprises's executive officer, the clips were reportedly shown to 6,000 sailors and U.S. Marines on the ship as part of what was called "XO Movie Night."
The Pilot reports:
In one scene, two female Navy sailors stand in a shower stall aboard the aircraft carrier, pretending to wash each other. They joke about how they should get six minutes under the water instead of the mandated three.
In other skits, sailors parade in drag, use anti-gay slurs, and simulate masturbation and a rectal exam. Another scene implies that an officer is having sex in his stateroom with a donkey.
According to the Virginia-based outlet, the videos were made with government equipment. Some were reportedly produced at times when the ship was actively deployed to help the country's war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sailors, who declined to be identified by name, indicated to the Pilotthat the footage in question was broadcast on a weekly basis aboard the ship.
Honors, who is expected to deploy in upcoming weeks, suggests in the videos that his intent in generating the content was for entertainment purposes. The Pilot reports that the clips drew complaints from female sailors aboard the carrier who found the material offensive.
The Navy issued a statement (full text below) on the matter appearing to downplay any hint of controversy.
"The videos were intended to be humorous skits focusing the crew's attention on specific issues such as port visits, traffic safety, water conservation, ship cleanliness, etc," said a written statement, according to the Pilot.
Honors himself acknowledges in one clip the controversial nature of the videos. "Over the years I've gotten several complaints about inappropriate materials in these videos," he says. "Never to me personally but, gutlessly, through other channels."

The videos created onboard USS Enterprise in 2006-2007 and written about in The Virginian-Pilot article on Saturday, January 1, 2011, are clearly inappropriate. Production of videos, like the ones produced four to five years ago on USS Enterprise and now being written about in The Virginian-Pilot, were not acceptable then and are not acceptable in today's Navy. The Navy does not endorse or condone these kinds of actions. Those in command, Commanding Officers, Executive Officers, and Command Master Chiefs (the command triad) are charged to lead by example and are held accountable for setting the proper tone and upholding the standards of honor, courage and commitment that we expect Sailors to exemplify. U.S. Fleet Forces Command has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the production of these videos.
Zahid had even told reporters that no bloggers were on board claiming that "If we allowed any blogger to go, others would ask, too".

What a liar Zahid is
However Papagomo's blogpost with pictures has proven beyond doubt that Zahid is not only untrustworthy, Papagomo is the numero uno Umno blogger, hatchetman and special advisor to the Defence Minister, or the latter would not have been allowed on board the high security submarine.
The Defence Minister hasn't only lied to Lim Guan Eng about Papagomo's presence, he had earlier promise the Penang Chief Minister that he would accompany the latter for the ride, but reneged on the promise last minute.
Zahid had also earlier this year made unbelievable and scurrilous allegations againts me when he alleged that I was previously arrested and charged in Singapore which disqualified me from becoming a Member of Parliament in the city state. He had further claimed that it was due to my connections with the Singapore authorities that I was released and returned to Malaysia to become an elected representative here.
Such fantastic stories can only originate from an Umno blogger extraordinaire, who had also started the despicable and fictitious allegations that Lim Guan Eng's son was forced to transfer school due to sexual assault and Lim Guan Eng had paid money to cover up the case. It was later proven beyond doubt that Papagomo and his cohorts had made up the allegations when the alleged victim was a foreigner never to have stepped onto the shores of Penang.
The fact that Papagomo possesses such exclusive privilege with the Defence Minister who is also the most senior Umno Vice-President confirms his position as the latter's inner-circle confidante.
Despicable association
Papagomo 's privilege is a clear cut case of abuse of power and the Defence Minister must answer to all Malaysians for his lies and his intimate association with one of the most despicable of Umno bloggers.
Zahid has singled me out for criticism for not having gone on the submarine sojourn. I was overseas for the past week and was unable to make the trip to Langkawi. However, as pointed out by Lim Guan Eng, going on the dive will only prove the dedication and professionalism of the Malaysian Navy, which was never in doubt.
It will give people like Papagomo the bragging rights but does not at all answer our questions over the seemingly exhorbitant billions of ringgit paid, as well as the hundreds of millions of "commissions" made to interested parties.
Jiminy Qrikert: Papagomo said "...he felt honoured that he was the first blogger allowed a ride in the submarine." Defence Minister Zahid Hamidi denied allowing any blogger onboard, "If we allowed any blogger to go, others would ask too."
So, the question to ask is who 'allowed' Papagomo to board? Surely to board a submarine, security must have been very tight and everyone thoroughly checked.
Did Papagomo just wave himself past the navy security manning the boarding process or was he provided clearance by the Defence Ministry beforehand. And if so, then Zahid is pretty dumb or an incorrigible liar.
BN-Umno is built on a rock solid foundation of lies. Now they need to win the cyber war. So, what can the rakyat expect but a barrage of lies to make sure Umno-BN gains unfair advantage.
What Pakatan Rakyat has to do is to show up Umno-BN's lies for what they are. For so long as these lies are not challenged, they will circulate in cyber space as 'truths'.
Disgusted: Penang CM Lim Guan Eng's bodyguard was not allowed to accompany him but his slanderer was allowed on board without Lim knowing.
What if he did indeed try to harm Lim. This is no laughing matter. Lim should be accorded the protocol of a chief minister even though he is in the opposition. A minister should have accompanied him as Zahid promised to do earlier.
Whilst Pakatan treats Najib cordially whenever he visits Penang, Umno treats Lim like dirt especially in using their NGOs and bloggers to attack the CM.
Wira: The purpose why Umno allowed this particular blogger to go on board the submarine is to spin news of this dive for the party propaganda machine on cyberspace.

Whether the minister was insincere, whether he lied or played dirty, whether the two bloggers were brought in to embarrass Lim is beyond the latter's control and one should not rebuke him for accepting the invitation.
An Old Malaysian: During the press conference, when Zahid was asked if any blogger had visited the submarine, he replied in the negative. "If we allowed any blogger to go, others would ask too," he had said.
Trust the Umno-BN leaders to tell the truth.
Zubir: If indeed Papagomo was on board the sub, what makes him so special to be accorded that privilege? He is not even a reporter. It only shows how much Zahid and Umno love him.
Multi Racial: Zahid in ‘inviting' Papagomo in his capacity as defence minister and also vice-president of Umno goes to show two things:
1) The government is abusing its authority.
2) Umno is behind Papagomo. Just look as his comment in his blogs.
Malaysians are still waiting for the government to answer these questions:
1) Why is the cost of the submarine much higher than market price?
2) Why did the government pay more than RM500 million to a newly-registered company, Perimekar, for consultancy when it obviously did not have any expertise in submarine or marine matters.
3) Why Altantuya Shaariibuu, who claimed involvement in the deal, was murdered and blown into pieces.
Isn't Papagomo interested to know about this instead of criticising Guan Eng for asking pertaining and relevant questions as members of the opposition?

The cost of the submarine is still not answered and most importantly, why was over RM500 million paid to Abdul Razak Baginda's company?
