VINCENT TAN’S BERJAYA GROUP TOOK OFF WHEN IT WAS AWARDED THE PRIVATISATION OF SPORTS TOTO IN THE 1980S WHILE ANANDA KRISHNAN BECAME AN OVERNIGHT BILLIONAIE

My soul is not for sale to the devil. My soul is priceless! Amen.
Najis and his Umno-warlords should be very, very afraid. Afraid not because some sections of the population won’t listen to you or that they would point their middle finger at you instead of pointing the tired-index finger at the sky to symbolize your 1Malaysia.. No, not that.
What can be more insulting?

That’s the whole problem, UMNO thought this nation belong to them only. They lie, rob, steal, jail and kill anyone at their own whims and fancies. This is insanity and this is Malaysia.
You should be afraid because this is the first time they won’t sell their votes to you for your money.
And seeing that your oldest, commonest and dirtiest trick of buying votes during elections, i.e.”Umno’s lethal weapon” is not working, so your BeEnd is habis come GE-13.
WHAT ETHICS AND MORALS DO YOU EXPECT FROM ALI BABA HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!……………………. Lets ONE_UP in the INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM
Well if our government has failed in everything else, I can give you at least one that they have passed with flying colours – CORRUPTION! How else can one grade the government if the Head Honcho himself blatantly practised corruption. What else can we expect from our leaders? The best brains have left us, exported out to other countries. The good brains left fighting are sent to Kamunting from time to time to give others a clear message. AND all we have left to run the nation are murderers, thieves, gangsters, frogs and prostitutes.
So with that pool of ‘leaders’ what can Malaysia expect? From what I heard and saw in the video, perhaps Najib don’t even understand that he had actually committed an election act offence and/or corruption – I mean after all, he can only think of ‘blowing’ things up, right?
…“If Robert Lau becomes the MP on Sunday, on Monday I will ask the cheque to be prepared. Do we have a deal or not? We do! You want the RM5 million, I want Robert Lau to win,”
BUT Robert Lau was miraculously DEFEATED ! So it is NOT Corruption to GIVE Rm5 million since the actus rea was not completed ? So NO OFFENCE committed at all ? MACC cannot prove ?
HOWEVER, In Hulu Selangor, it was a Clear -CUT OFFENCE as the actus rea was fulfilled & completed ?
To prove the case MACC must call all voters to affirm that they indeed did receive the MONIES and were fully influnced to vote for BeEnd candidate ?
No wonder the whole Govt. machinery is corrupted to the hilt. The policeman and the lower rank have a role model in the pm. It would be doomesday soon if PR does not take over the country in the next GE. The prison cells need to be increased immediatley after the next GE should PR become the next ruling party.
While the Bumiputeras and the poor Chinese and Indians benefited modestly from official largesse, the Chinese mercantile and professional classes benefited more substantially.
With one stroke of a pen by the Finance Minister allowing football betting, tycoon Vincent Tan is richer by RM525 million richer. His Ascot Sports sold 70 per cent of the business to his corporate vehicle, Berjaya Group. If that’s not gargantuan largesse, I don’t know what.
The Chinese enjoyed official largesse by way of large monopolies, concessions, contracts and subsidies – anything from sugar monopoly to large timber concessions, gaming franchises, IPP licences, massive contracts and billion ringgit worth of direct and indirect subsidies.
In fact, official largesse not only helped to prosper the well-connected Malay-, Chinese- and Indian-controlled conglomerates, but also in some instances saved them from bankruptcies.
The YLT official website tells of the company nearly going bankrupt in the 1970s, forcing family members to chip in to rescue it. By the 1980s, the YTL Group took off on a grand scale on account of large government contracts to build schools and modular hospitals and later on privatisation of railway land and the award of the first Independent Power Producer (IPP) licence.readmore
Vincent Tan’s Berjaya Group took off when it was awarded the privatisation of Sports Toto in the 1980s while Ananda Krishnan became an overnight sensation when he was awarded the super-lucrative privatisation of the Jalan Ampang Race Course and a series of gaming and telecommunications franchises plus considerable seed capital from state-owned funds.readmore

It’s fine with me if the new MCA under Dr Chua no longer wants the bread and butter type largesse for the Chinese, but is instead more concerned with intellectual matters such as good governance, accessibility to education, scholarships, promotions, the judiciary and crime.
If I can speak for the Malays, the Orang Asli and other Bumiputeras, I think we too are concerned about good governance. Without good governance, the poor are more likely to be marginalised because they cannot afford to give fat ang pau, duit kopi, sponsorships and cuti-cuti to the ruling elite.
The Malays, the Orang Asli and other Bumiputeras too want accessibility to education and scholarships, not only to attend public universities, but also to enroll in private universities and colleges.
The Malays, the Orang Asli and other Bumiputeras too want better promotion opportunities in the Chinese- and Indian-controlled conglomerates, especially those that enjoy massive government largesse apart from the GLCs.
The Malays, the Orang Asli and other Bumiputeras too want an independent judiciary and a reduction in crime because they too want justice and they too are victims of rising crime rates.
The MCA cannot pull the wool over people’s eyes by blaming its declining support among the Chinese to the implementation of government policies. The MCA is part and parcel of the policies and their implementation. The MCA should instead thank the government and claim the credit that the NEP had given the Chinese a much larger slice of the expanded cake than the Bumiputeras and the Indians.
Also, it is not as if whenever or wherever the MIC is in the driving seats, things are better. The Port Klang Free Zone fiasco is a case in point.
And in Sarawak, where the BN had just been ousted from the Sibu parliamentary seat by the DAP on account of Chinese support, who benefited from the massive timber concessions and infrastructure contracts if not a handful of Chinese tycoons?
The Star newspaper in a report on last March 27 listed them as Tiong Hiew King, Ting Pek Khiing, the Lau brothers (Henry Lau Lee Kong, Stephen Lau Lee Kiong and Vincent Lau Lee Ming), Hii Yii Chiong, Ding Jack Sung, Ling Chiong Ho, Wong Kie Nai, and Yaw Teck Seng. It labeled them the “Sarawak Shakers”.
The MCA, especially its new President, cannot continue to pin the blame for the party’s poor rating among the Chinese on others. More so when the few seats it won in the 2008 general elections were mostly on account of Malay votes.
I am all for the MCA being concerned with intellectual issues so that the party will be better able to relate to the everyday things like morality, infidelity, the evil of gambling and alcoholism, the along menace, prostitution, human trafficking, illegal wildlife trade, drug trade, profiteering and many more issues plaguing our multi-religious and multi-racial society.

THIS IS MAHARTIRISM. The postponement comes just a day after Najib revealed that the green light had been given to Sime Darby to acquire a majority stake. The Umno elite appear to be out of touch not only with the masses but also with their They are very impatient before the power take over, why the over confidence? ? Because someone somewhere needs to generate more money in their pockets Will there be another government hand out to Nazir’s ideas -not that they are really despicably bad his ideas- but just that we had been told by Najib himself of more transparent transplant of less corruptive values in negotiating government jobs, had we not just recently? Will the Government be building a another new IJN once this IJN is sold off? Where? How many? What is price tag on IJN are we talking about here?Who is funding the take over? As Finance Minister and the chief “fatal” backdoor takeover of Golden Hope and Guthrie Corporation by Sime Darby via Synergy Drive, which was the creation of his brother, Mohd Nazir.Sime Darby was once a diversified and highly regarded company. Today, thanks to the merger and its sudden dependence on palm oil, Sime Darby is suffering. Iam just helping my brother is it crime in our country To help our siblings Could the proposed sale of IJN to Sime Darby be Mohd Najib’s way of helping to prop up the (new) Sime Darby, which is essentially the product of his brother’s market-making? I beg Mohd Najib to start thinking seriously about the welfare of the masses like his late father did instead of pushing the country towards exclusivity for the sake of profits and short-term gains . Take for example Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC)which costed Petronas RM770 million in total was built in the view that this is a social obligation by Petronas to serve the public at large. But how many people actually go to PCMC? To be honest, I don’t know where PCMC is heading in the healthcare business. I have some specialist friends who are being paid in excess of RM50k a month to do visitation in PCMC and yet come back complaining about lack of patients and procedures to be performed. Well, if you want to have a corporate social responsibility, might as well build a hospital in Sudan, Chad or Somalia. suffer from their actions.there more people can we are poor . THE SUDDENESS with which the news that the National Heart Institute (IJN) may be privatised to Sime Darby appeared in the media suggests that conspiracy of sorts is at work.a promise as “guaranteeing low fees for the poor” is made by no less then the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, himself. KTMB doing the best it can
LAST week, I was taken aback when I saw a photograph of a KTM Komuter Electric Multiple Unit train hitched up behind a diesel locomotive with KTMB managing director Abd Razak Abd Malek smiling and flagging off the train.
I could not imagine why Abd Razak was smiling. KTM Komuter service is effectively regressing.
Going back to diesel locomotives to pull these Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) trains is sad and it should never have happened – but that is what you get with poor planning and a lack of investment from the government.
Before you complain to a KTMB employee about poor service or breakdowns, please remember that KTM Komuter is carrying three times the number of passengers it carried in 1994 – using a fleet that is less than half of the original fleet. On a good day KTM Komuter has 25-30 trains operating.
The fleet is breaking down and it is expected to carry three times more passengers – but where is the investment from the government?
New four-carriage EMU trains will arrive this year but the government only bought 13 train sets.
KTM Komuter needs at least 100 new train sets to offer a decent level of service and higher frequency of 7 minutes – which might encourage more passengers to use it.
KTMB management is very innovative and trying to do more in the situation that it is stuck with.
I recall speaking to KTMB management in mid-2008 during the height of what I described as a “Komuter crisis” and gave a suggestion about running shuttle trains pulled by extra diesel locomotives.
Apparently, the new KTM locomotives bought in 2007 were underpowered so instead of being used to haul freight wagons they are being used to pull passenger carriages.
I presume that KTMB does not have enough passenger carriages to be pulled since the Intercity service is seeing growth, so it is innovating again by making use of the “dead” EMU trains.
KTM also innovated with the “New-Q system” last year – another example of the company trying to make the best of a bad situation – and we hope that it will continue innovating and doing its best.
But it is sad to see that we have reduced KTM Komuter service to: using weak, underpowered diesel locomotives pulling “dead” EMU trains that can no longer move under their own power – just so it can provide a level of service that is way below expectations.
KTMB is listening and innovating and doing the best it can with the few crumbs it has been given – but it is the politicians who really need to hear what is being said.
I salute the employees of KTMB and managing director Abd Razak for putting on a brave face.

There are many reasons why he, LKY is here at all. LKY has long term vision, something like 10 to 20 years ahead. In order to safe guard Singapore and to be one step ahead in this region, he wanted to see for himself what PKR might be capable of. This new change in Malaysia might post inevitable danger to the economy and well being of Singapore. LKY already have intelliegence report about Najib and Rosmah to know their weaknesses so that is not the obstacle. But the new group PKR is something he personally must see to. After all Feng Shui Masters and even prediction from the time of Mahathir on the downfall of UMNO is inevitable in the hands of Najib. In private even Mahathir had acknowledge that Najib will be the one to kill the party. SPEAK UP! :: Letters

I am still shocked, in a purely
Clintonesque moment, Barack Obama was photographed “apparently” checking out the ass of a Brazilian girl at the G-8 summit in Italy. TMZ published the image with the headline “Baby Got Barack,” so there’s no doubt Brazilian Mayara certainly grabbed the attention of the world. Yup, for doing basically noting she is now the most famous teenager in Brazil. Please remember, some states in America the legal age of consent is 16 year-old. But I was checking around, the age of consent in Brazil is 18. But, no where it is illegal just to look! I bet he also has one of his stimulates package for that ass. LOL… This is going to go straight to her head, she will be bragging to her female friends in Brazil how Obama checked out her ass. Click on pictures to enlarge.
