The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate. In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. many say “you sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife.” If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives has become common in the affluent circles of Bombay
Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Nazri Aziz, known for his off-tangent remarks, may have outdone himself with the latest explanation why the BN could not act against Malay rights rabble-rouser, Ibrahim Ali, for making a speech that has been widely condemned as highly seditious.
His words recorded for posterity, Nazri said the BN government could not do so because “we cannot be selective in our prosecution”.
Predictability may give a sense of stability and confidence, but it does tend to get somewhat boring. Think about the most interesting people you know. They will certainly have unpredictable edges to their personality. In fact, aren’t we all strangely attracted to people who are erratic in their behaviour and somewhat elusive? They may not give us a sense of stability but they do stimulate the mind and make life interesting.
What a paradox in this so-called Arab Spring.
On one hand, here is a self-assured and respected, popular Moroccan monarch offering his people a specific, concrete path to democratic reform free of intimidation or violence. And on the other hand, a rudderless and ruthless Syrian dictator who has no hesitation killing his own people in order to suppress their quest for reasonable and necessary democratic reforms.
At least for the people of Morocco there is a realistic hope for a brighter tomorrow.
As for the people of Syria, Assad has set his nation on a dangerous path to sectarian strife and potential all out civil war.
Surely, that is not a fate the Syrian people deserve given all they have endured under the 41 year state of fear the Assad family dynasty has inflicted on them.
All-round condemnation has forced Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali into a sharp U-turn, but he has only worsened the situation and it now behoves Prime Minister Najib Razak to show some fair play or risk being shut out by the community especially at the ballot boxes where it hurts most , say Chinese leaders.
“That is most flimsy excuse ever. It is really rubbing salt into the wound. This shows the total disrespect the Najib administration has for the Chinese,” Gopeng MP Lee Boon Chye told Malaysia Chronicle.
Ibrahiim and Perkasa had burned effigies of Ambiga Sreenevasan on Sunday, just hours before the official Bersih 2.0 launch. Ibrahim Ali is against the anti-election fraud rally slated for July 9. Ambiga is the chairman of the organizing committee for the Bersih rally.
A successful gathering is seen as a slap in the face for Prime Minister Najib Razak’s leadership. It may also force his administration to agree on a slew of reforms which he is loathe to do as he needs every edge he can get to stave off the challenge put up by the Pakatan Rakyat led by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.READMORE
