Muhyiddin Backing Najib or playing his back? Can NAJIB neutralise Muhyiddin charging MAHATHIR? GO FOR IT NAJIIB!

UMNO is bleeding!I believe that we need to legally disincentivise the lust for power.
If we limit the term of office of the Prime Minister and even the Cabinet Ministers to only one term and after that do not allow them to contest any elections, do not allow them to hold any public office and provide life long pension then we may be able to remove their incentive to act the way they act as described in the article.
They will perform for the nation rather than for their vote bank. Then, they will be more likely to uphold the dignity of the office that they occupy.
I wonder though, how many of the current crop of politicians will agree to hold the post of PM if they know that after their tenure they will have to retire from politics?
This will definitely separate the wheat from the chaff. The wheat being the politicians who are there to make a real difference to the nation and the chaff being the politicians who have other agendas to remain in politics!
The real truth is that the Democrazy is like a Pyramid with a infinitely long all round bases and the apex is just just few feet height. Most of the elected reps & people who elect them belong to this infinite base.

Muhyiddin recently agreed with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that Malaysians had not yet understood Najib’s 1 Malaysia concept after the former prime minister said it had failed to unite Malaysians as a whole.

However, Muhyiddin blamed PR today as the reason why Malaysians had yet to understand the 1 Malaysia concept.

He accused PR of manipulating government policies for their own political interests.

"Infighting and unease in Umno has intensified following the arrest of a political secretary to a senior Cabinet minister, sparking questions about Prime Minister Najib Razak's grip on his embattled party and consequently the stability of his year-old administration.

Not only is the 57-year old leader dogged by personal scandal, warlords in the fragmented Umno are said to be discontented and once again openly on the lookout for their own interests. Privately, the buzz is that the party is disappointed that after 11 months in power, Najib has failed to bolster crucial voter support, nor is he likely to do so going forward.

“Basically, there are two main conspiracy theories going around town. Which is the more probable depends on which of the three main factions in Umno that you belong to,” a veteran party watcher told Harakahdaily on the condition of anonymity.

“One theory is that Najib is fighting back against his deputy Muhyiddin Yassin and Dr Mahathir Mohamad. The second is that Najib wants to squash Khairy Jamaluddin, the Umno Youth chief, before he becomes too successful in his own plots to topple Najib....more” Unquote.

Both Jibby & his DPM is "Beholden" to Madey for where they are in UMNO & the Government today....

Jibby's Foreign Adviser "Masters" have got Jibby, UMNO & this nation by the "Orbs/Juglars"...

Does not matter which one "Drowns"...Heads I Win, Tails You Lose !

On the other hand, Madey "Their Shadow Puppet Master" is the happiest Man alive in Bolehland, waiting to "Execute" his End Game Plan very soon....with the impending "UMNO/BN Implosion".

He is the most experienced & most qualified to be the "Caretaker" (need not be the PM!) to do the needful...seeing that we are ALL "Sheeples/Goyims"...

Yes, we are the suckers that voted them in & allowed the "System" to create our nation’s ills, so please wake up & get out of the Bolehland mindset to see the bigger picture!

You be the judge.

“Although it (1 Malaysia) has a noble goal and seeks to bring peace, government policy and programmes, (it is) being distorted by certain parties, solely for the interest of their personal politics,” Muhyiddin said.

Muhyiddin stressed that the government must be proactive in combating what he claimed were lies propagated by PR.

“The government must act in a proactive, innovative and creative manner in reaching out to the people directly and provide them with actual information on policies and noble ideals of government and not to be buried by the false allegations of those that just want to get political positions alone,” he said.

Dr Mahathir has been highly critical of 1 Malaysia, claiming that the concept needed further “explanation” to prevent it from being interpreted differently by various races.

Dr Mahathir’s remarks came after a recent public opinion poll by the Merdeka Center found that a majority of non-Bumiputeras in the country considered Najib’s 1 Malaysia slogan a mere political gimmick.

According to the poll, only 39 per cent of non-Bumiputeras accepted the 1 Malaysia concept despite the fact that it had been introduced for over a year.

Forty-six per cent out of 3,141 respondents interviewed felt that 1Malaysia was only a “tactic to win over non-Malay support”, while another 16 per cent had either refused to answer the poll questions or claimed to have no understanding of the concept whatsoever.

Respondents were undecided on whether Malaysia had become more united under the Najib Administration, with 48 per cent saying yes and 43 per cent claiming that the country was still disunited.

Najib has been under a lot of fire lately as even veteran Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders have come out and openly mocked his 1 Malaysia campaign, in effect branding it a “hollow” cause.

Veteran Umno politician and one time finance minister Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said recently that the 1 Malaysia slogan was “hollow” and had lacked direction and vision and even compared it to Dr Mahathir’s Vision 2020.
