Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to Mahathir-probe-your asshole, see if it is intect

No religion encourage gambling - in whatever formed. Over here in Malaysia especially UMNO is telling that gambling in Malaysia is only for non-muslims. UMNO is telling the non-muslim religion what they can do. How screw up our leaders are and the worst part of everything, the components parties leader and MP are not defending their respective religion rights - this is even more screw up.I hate to disagree. Gambling is definitely beneficial to UMNO and TDM other wise they would not have gambled their reputation against so much public opinion. See, they are big time gamblers and risk takers themselves.

Yes, yes , the country's uncrowned king, u are right!!
I believe if the person is an ulama of any standing, u UMNOputras will stink to high heavens!!
So, how can the UMNOputras attract any ulama of worth?
Look at the trail of scandals u folks have visited on our country, much to our eternal shame!!

The Malaysian Maverick Tun Mahatir RM100 Billions fiasco shaking hands with the tainted Crime Minister with 540 Millions corrupted commission. Lets us not scream murder
I am not here to preach about religion but I have a bit of knowledge of statistics and probability to share with you all.Beware of Mahathir whenever he smiles and shakes. The photo is a reminder of the picture in the papers before he threw Anwar in the slammer. Still the puppet master! Don't be surprised behind that smile is his wry intent in expressing Najib's and Rosmahs days are numbered. The Constitution shall be suspended before GE13 and UMNO will be the 1 party under his will that shall run the country as Hitler ran the Nazi party.

To make it short, yes, one can win the £20 million (RM96.5 million) jackpot by guessing the right number combinations.

Question is, one of how many? 7 million people? 10 million?

Does it not sound like... false hope? or day light scam?

What are risks for the betting industry? Nothing really. The gamblers put it money, money is pooled in the account and carried forward, and the bookmakers don’t even have to pray that they won’t make a catastrophic loss.

What is the probability of getting the right combination number? 1 in 14 millions? 1 in 600millions?

Recent results of World Cup 2010 in Africa also so many people losing money. Spain was beaten 1-0. France officially out of the knock-out stage. England... well you know, blaming the ball and vuvuzelas.

I cannot stop smirking at those grim faces in the office losing bets to unexpected results from the group stage.

What? Malaysia wants to legalise sports betting? I think Malaysians should stop this obsession of these ‘orang putih’. They are also human, you know, not gods-know-it-alls. One should not see a community as a better deal just because they seem to be better off. That’s just shallow.

Too bad, Nazri resorted to stereo-typed notions of ‘non-Muslims’ and cock-eyed ideas of what constitutes their rights, observes Francis Loh. No wonder there’s no 1 Malaysia!

“You must remember that the country does not belong to the Muslims. There are things that sometimes non-Muslims do, for example, gambling. It is their culture, their way of life and we have to respect their rights.” Apparently, the minister in the prime minister’s department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, expressed these words which grabbed the headlines on 20 June.

Minister Nazri is absolutely right that the country does not belong to the Muslims.

He is also correct to insist that Muslims have to respect non-Muslim rights, and he should have added ‘and vice versa’.

But he is absolutely wrong to suggest that gambling is a non-Muslim “way of life” that ought to be respected. This is a cock-eyed view of what constitutes non-Muslim culture, even less that it is a non-Muslim right that must be respected.

First, gambling is a world-wide phenomenon and gamblers come from all continents, countries and religions. If one doubts this, recall how there have been some big-time Muslim state-exco and dignitary gamblers who have hit the headlines about their debts ever so often. The point is that gambling has nothing to do with any religion. In the event, all religions discourage their followers from gambling. And only some non-Muslims and Muslims gamble. Most do not.

Hit it right on Nazri head. Those who spoke in favour of legalising sports betting are scumbags. No means no and there is no need to fools yourself with all the nonsensical justification and then ending upinsulting us.

I admit i buy numbers but I am against gambling, legal or not. It is becvause you allow betting that I bet, You see it here?

I do wake up regularly to watch soccer in the early morning but I don't bet on soccer result even though i know bookies. I could have bet on credit but I don't. To me, it is about enjoying the games.
