birds of same feather flock together
First of all kudo’s to YM Sultan Selangor for snubbing Ibr.ali. Octo is certainly up to the task of mentoring these fascists, although i’m wondering why an octogerian like him would persist in antagonizing half the population of this country. I guess that’s the nature of one who hopes for adulation beyond the grave, no matter how perverted.
Malaysia is still a good place to live in spite of all its warts and thorns. There were a few of us who were ‘lucky’ to survive the system that Grace mentioned above. We stayed not becuz of altruistic reasons, but becuz this is our birthright. We were marginalized, sodomized and raped by our own so-called leaders who were blind and self serving. We never wanted to make Malaysia “Great” for that is impossible with the racial segregation that bordered on apartheid. But ‘happiness’ in this life means little, if one is unprepared to live with some discomfort.Perkasa is One Big Joke, and Ibrahim Ali Al-Kataki is a court jester in Malay Politics, says respected UKM academic Dr. AB Shamsul analysts say otherwise. “I don’t know what he (Ibrahim) is fighting for. This guy is confused, what he is doing right now is trying to fan racial sentiments, although we cannot argue that he has a fundamental right to organise a group,” said Professor Dr Abdul Aziz Bari, a constitutional law expert with the International Islamic University (IIU) in Kuala Lumpur.“The thing is, Malay rights have always been outlined, stated and guaranteed clearly by the Federal Constitution. I don’t see any logic in Perkasa’s rhetoric about protecting the Malays. The constitution has already provided a space for Malay rights, and it is never challenged.PAS chief strategist Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad firmly believes that Perkasa is a vehicle for the extremist UMNO members and is undermining Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1Malaysia concept.“Najib has to take on UMNO if he does not want Malaysia to be destabilised, he has to take on this hardline Malay issue. His silence on Perkasa’s role is not good because if Najib identifies with Perkasa’s political initiatives, his 1 Malaysia is finished,” Dzulkefly told
“If there’s still dissatisfaction or unhappiness after all these years, then Perkasa’s target should be the government, where UMNO, those in power have failed. Ibrahim should set his guns on UMNO then,” Abdul Aziz

What is happening here of late is nothing new, as “patriotic” Perkasa events graced by the presence of that great devious Manipulator of this nature has always been a part and parcel of tragic Malaysian politics, ever since the selling out of Tunku Abdul Rahman in 1969. In Malaysia, Politics, Religion, Race & Treachery are synonymous / inseparable and have caused unending friction/disaster between the 3 main races ….and this concept/enlightenment should be a first mantra of anyone who seeks and/or professes to talk & know Malaysia. While a few fast ones ( aka above ) have emigrated to greener pasteurs (like Canada, may God bless you all ) for whatever reasons , there are many who remain either by choice or by circumstances and to this group lies the genuine future of the country ( if any ), and no other wannabe or hypocrites. There are distinctive evil forces ( one of which is called UMNO ) out to wreck havoc for personal gains/glory and has nothing to do with the well being of the X lucky country. It will take great patience and perseverance to hold on to this long War to stamp out these cancerous cells of our society but fight we must , as Din always say. Never give up and run. We are still here , and ready

It is as if Malaysia is gripped in a frenzy of small-minded parochialism. We seem to be speaking in terms of gross stereotyping of regions, religions and nations in what seems to be an absolute reversal of all our professed ideals. That a position that has taken has any support at all, let alone the sympathy of many who do not see themselves as raving right wing extremists, is surprising. There does seem to be a return that we are seeing of more primitive passions, as we react with emotion to the slightest provocation, real or imagined in arenas important and trivial. Divisive stances come more naturally to a large section of people and there is little attempt to apply the filter of discrimination. Indeed,MALAYSIA is awash in symbolic issues that seem to take up a lot of our time, energy and angst. It seems extraordinarily easy to offend some group or the other on issues that rarely translate into any material consequences.this could be the rebirth of Malay Nationalism with our fellow Kedahan, Che Det as the bidan(midwife). He will do anything to protect his interest even when he knows that myopic nationalism in Malaysia is dangerous and divisive. Najib is unwilling to put a stop to this PERKASA event. Why?Mahathir took this on as the patron saint of PERKASA to reinforce his MALAY credentials despite the fact that he personally wrote iin his application form to study medicine in Singapore that he is an INDIAN by race.UMNO’s tactic of outsourcing its racist policies by forming more ultra Malay NGOs seem to be mushrooming at high speed.Good opportunity now exists for those MALAY-CENTRIC INTELLECTUALS stir their own juice within these kind of divisive entities under the banner of 1MALAYSIA.Here is the latest one after PERKASA and MPMThe Organisation of Former Umno Elected Representatives was set up to champion the interests of Malays in the economic, education, religious and language fields in line with the party’s struggle, its president Tan Sri Adam Kadir said today. He said the organisation, which was registered on Dec 14 last year, would safeguard the fundamental rights of the Malays as enshrined in the Federal Constitution and intensify efforts to unite the Malays.Adam said that at the inaugural general meeting, Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin was elected vice-president I and Thamrin Tun Ghafar, vice-president II.“Six people were elected to the supreme assembly. They are Tan Sri Sanusi Junid, Tan Sri Sabaruddin Chik, Datuk Mokhtar Hashim, Datuk Seri Dr Suleiman Mohamed, Aziz Yassin and Datuk Dr Afiffudin Omar,” he said when contacted by Bernama here.It is a brilliant idea to give a home to people like Zahrain Hashim, Hasan Ali, Zulkifli Noordina and Ibrahim Ali after the next GE13.a) National Organisation of Malay Bloggers since we already have the Alliance of Muslim Bloggers headed by a SUFI MUSLIMTan Sri Sanusi Junid who had accused
the mamak Reezal Naina for dethroning him as the chairman ? of some organisation in our Islamic University?
SAnusi Junid’s son is that Achehnese-wannabe Malay, Akhramsyah, who is the ardent follower of the Sufi Muslim (Mahaguru 58) and president of the Alliance of Muslim Bloggers which was setup by Zahid Hamidi to demonise the Christians for using the word Allah???
b) National Council of UMNO Intellectuals under the patronage of Rais Yatim ( he has a PhD)
c) National Organisation of Political Frogs (all races are members)So, an imported Indian become Perkasa patron! This Indian turned Malay has already caused enough damage to this country – he emasculated the Judiciary , media and freedom. He promoted racism, corruption and lawlessness.
Now he wants to create anarchy and inflame racial animosity to greater heights.
This man, with a heart of stone, put his adversaries behind bars for no reason. He demonized Anwar and his family. He cheated Tunku Razaleigh to the UMNO presidents postMany Malays felt albeit privately that it was so un-Malay of Mahathir to do that i.e. put his deputy out to dry in such a personal and overt and some say despicable manner. Malays are seen as a gentle and polite people, working out their differences from behind the scenes rather than out in the open. In that context, and of relevance is the premium placed by the Chinese on values like filial piety, a value shared by all Asians and not just Chinese.. Nor is the Javanese preoccupation with shadow play as alien to Malay culture as some would like to believe i.e. a typically Javanese style of ‘doing business’ not unfamiliar with our Indian friends, misunderstood by many non-Indians as back stabbing methods and often referred to by Anwar Ibrahim as the Bollywood style of doing business. These are values and leadership styles long incorporated into Malay customs and Malay culture.
Concerned for the long term future of this county, it would not be unpatriotic nor untimely for Malaysians to ask if Asian values (some may read this as Confucian values) like filial piety are not in conflict with values promoted by the western type of liberal democracy as we find here in the U.S. with emphasis on the well being of the individual.
It is for this reason that I feel, all things remaining equal or ceteris paribus as my Economics Professor the late Dr. Yip Yat Hoong used to say during his class, what is happening in Malaysia today could well be nothing more than a flash in the pan.
To advocates of this school of thought, movements like PERKASA are not an aberration..
Hey, mamak when are you going to kick the bucket. Hell is waiting for you.An Indian turned Malay is a race evolution! A new discovery that deserves a Noble prize! In biology, evolution is the change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through successive generations. When a population splits into smaller groups, these groups evolve independently and develop into new species.
Mahathir did it in one generation, taking advantage of the constitutional definition of a Malay. He claims that his mom, Che Wan Tempawan, has stronger genes than his Kutty father, a hardcore Indian from the state of Kerala. After that, he sought legitimacy by showing the Malays that he is more Malay than they. He became UMNO President on a strong Malay agenda and became the first Indian to be Prime Minister of Malaysia
