- A cabinet minister has called former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad a “bloody racist” and chided the Umno-owned newspaper Utusan Malaysia for its “denial sydrome.”
The outburst came from Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, according to the online newspaper Malaysian Insider.
Nazri was criticising Dr Mahathir for defending Biro Tata Negara (BTN) courses.
He reasserted the Cabinet’s decision to overhaul the BTN programme, saying there was nothing to hide because “everybody knows what the BTN is.”
Of Utusan Malaysia, he said its “denial syndrome” was making him laugh.

I am not so sure about that. He once said it was pointless to clean up the judiciary because it doesn’t benefit the Malays. This speaks volumes about the man I once respected.
