YOUR OWN UMNO Dog Just Watered Your MALAYSIA ONE”Tree of Liberty”
Are you sick to death of the I-can-out-crazy-your-crazy screaming, the -wants-to-kill-yo-mama justice the he’s Nazi-Communist, Malsysian-doesn’t-apologize, torture-shmorture, government-is-evil, his-dick-gets-bigger-when-rosmama-rub-it, and zaidi mahayuddin kj krismuddid Axis-of-Evils? If the answer is yes, I salute you. If the answer is no, I also salute you… with this one finger.Whatever the result is as long as PR win,it is a win.The most important thing is RAKYAT are NOT DECEIVED by all the propaganda as spread by UMNO/BN.By doing that will send a very clear message that UMNO/BN STILL need to have a proper bath to clean all the dirtiness done by themMainstream and alternative media which reported that PAS won with reduced 900 majority are not comparing apple with apple. Out of total number of voters (20,350), the number who came out in 2008 are 16,803, the majority then was 5,433 and therefore then percentage won was 32.33%. The number who came out in 2009 are 14,876, with a majority of 4551 and therefore the percentage of victory is 30.59%. The actual drop, therefore, is ONLY 1.74%, hardly even 2% drop. Umno knows this. Hence the unity government gambit. What if Umno says to PAS, come and join us and you would get this and that? And a part of this and that is the widening of the Islamist fundamentalism net in Malaysia? Would PAS refuse? Or would PAS, as is often in the past, fall again to Umno’s seduction? Would the defenders of Islam in PAS be willing to ditch its own partners — to and with whom PAS is bound through a promise and a pact — and forsake its liberalism song and dance? Would the temptation prove too strong for these beacons of piety and goodness? This is not necessarily fickle mindedness. They are on a learning curve at the moment and will find their proper place eventually. Tok Guru however has been a steadfast individual who can lead PAS to greater strength in Malaysian governance.
With careful implementation according to the Hadiths of Islam (for Muslims) and the Human Rights Charter (for minorities and non-Muslim Malays), PAS is still a force for good compared with forced Military Conscription, Concessionaires (remember PAS bulldozing the Toll Booths for the Rakyat?), Corruption, Nepotism, Multi-Billionaire Ministers, Bureau Heads and politicians of B.N..
From what is understood, alcohol drinking is a personal sin and not exactly punishable? But that will be for the Ayatollahs here to decide which way to go. Hopefully, they will interpret in the most moderate manner possible to ensure personal freedoms of Muslims, not frighten non-Muslims and avoid extremes that are inapplicable.
I have some advice for all of us. Stop trying to get these people to realize how wrong they are and how right you are. Stop trying to apply reason to the profoundly unreasonable. Stop trying to mitigate or explain their collective temper tantrum. Stop trying to curry their favor, their votes, their attention. They don’t care about truth, right and wrong, good or bad. They care about stomping feet, crying victim, and pointing fingers.RPK had it exactly right, it’s like arguing with a dining room table. Enough is enough. Fuck YOU UMNO.
PAS sometimes behaves like islanders but with a drawbridge connected to the mainland. They know that no man is an island but they dont quite like what they see in the mainland. When they are comfortable with the mainlanders they lower the drawbridge and makes connection but once they sense that the mainlanders can be a bad influence on them they quickly raise the drawbridge and isolate themsleves and behaves in a world of their own making. It is like a on off affair with both sides not wanting the affair but also not wanting to break off from the affair. It is best that both sides sit down and trash out the relationship once and for all and build a permanent bridge to connect both sides or else make a clean break from each other.
I’m not sure what bothers me more, the profound and disturbing ignorance displayed by some, or the ones who know what’s right but protest simply because what’s right was proposed by the Left. Ironically, their elected representatives don’t care about them any more than they care about us. They care about reelection, they care about influence and power, they care about themselves, and they mindlessly adhere to an antiquated ideology at our collective peril
Don’t be afraid of them. Don’t let them question (or make you question) your basic instincts for goodness, decency, humanitarianism, and the attainable MALAYSIA you want and deserve. Don’t let them intimidate you. Think of TBH and KUGEN facing those bloodthirsty OPLICE&MCC led by none other than the BARISAN , “RACIAL now, BIGOTRY tomorrow, ABUSE forever!” Those kids didn’t run. ANWAR IBRAHIM didn’t run when that same MAHAYUDDIN called him a TRAITOR threatening the fabric of MALAYSIA. If they didn’t run at the first sounds of anger, the first sight of guns, the first smell of stubborn ignorance, neither should we. At least one pro-PAS blogger even suggested that Rohaizat was deliberately chosen because of his character flaws because BN knew they could not win in Anwar’s lair and needed a ready excuse to draw flak away from the party, its leadership or campaign machinery.
While it is a tempting proposition, it is probably unlikely since a continuing roll of losses would sap the confidence of even the most arrogant political party and so far they are down by half a dozen races.
Even the most enthusiastic Umno bloggers campaigning in Permatang Pasir found it hard to hide their disappointment with the result but more than that, they were disappointed with the snail pace of change within Umno and Barisan Nasional.YOUR OWN UMNO Dog Just Watered Your MALAYSIA ONE”Tree of Liberty”
