TUN MAHATHIR A HAUNTING HOUSE OF FEAR THE KARMA OF SHELTERING A RAPIST OF A 15 YEAR OLD MALAY SCHOOL GIRL

Fully agreed with all PR leaders said. This show that our former PM, TDMM 's family is corrupted to the very core just like UMNO and BN.we true Malaysians (irrespective of race) love you. Press on with your reforms to save Malaysia from corruption and injustices that have affected the police and the judiciary in the coming GE13. if PAKATAN wins he might land up in sg. buloh. always framing people, that's why he fears he will be framed when pakatan takes over. you destroyed all national instituitions and blamed it on pak lah.the people are not stupid.

Already facing possible expulsion, Tamrin Ghafar, the son of former deputy prime minister and Umno strongman Tun Ghafar Baba, has again criticised the party’s leadership for straying from its “original struggle”.
The former Bukit Berendam MP told The Malaysian Insider last night that, under Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s leadership, Umno has been trampling on the rights of Malaysians instead of defending them.
“Umno has strayed from the original struggle of its forefathers, who had prioritised the people more.
“Under Najib, Umno has stolen its people’s rights, instead of defended it,” he said.
He expressed disappointment that, since Najib succeeded Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in 2009, both the directions of Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno have changed drastically.
Tamrin, who has recently been active on Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) political stage, confirmed he had received a show-cause letter from Umno’s disciplinary committee on June 26 demanding he explain his criticisms against Najib’s leadership.
He has declined to reply, however, saying he would prefer to meet with the committee to explain his reasons “face to face”.
“I’ve been given 14 days to respond. But I refuse to do so in writing. Instead, I am seeking to meet with the committee to explain my actions to them personally,” he said, despite acknowledging that this may result in his sacking.
When asked of his plans to join other parties should he be sacked, Tamrin said he was yet to make a decision.
“Let’s wait for the committee’s decision first. I have not thought about joining other parties yet,” he added.
Tamrin first made an appearance in an opposition-backed event during a pre-Bersih 3.0 rally held in April at Kelab Sultan Sulaiman in Kampung Baru here.
Since then, the leader has been an active participant of PR events, and has even written to Najib to air his views on how Umno could recapture public support.
Tamrin’s father, Ghafar, had been deputy prime minister during the Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s administration and had served under four prime ministers, including Tun Abdul Razak, who is Najib’s father.
The late Ghafar had also been the Malacca chief minister for some eight years from 1959 to 1967 although he had originally declined the post offered to him by Tunku Abdul Rahman. We are familiar with the seasonal bargain sales whenever we approach the days of cultural and religious festivities. Even before Hari Raya (the Muslim religious festivities after a month long of fasting), the public is flooded with all sorts of bargain sales.
A popular clothing merchant has launched its pre-Hari Raya sales of fine textiles. Other merchants have also launched their own bargain sales.
These bargain sales, however, pale in comparison with the bargain sales offered by the chief snake-oil peddler in Malaysia — the PM.
By means of logrolling bargains, he dishes out economic morsels large enough to secure the votes from the public. Logrolling is a term used commonly in the US to refer to the granting of fevers by politicians seeking re-election to selected groups in exchange for their support and votes.
Najib’s grant of an advance of RM 15,000 to Felda settlers is a logrolling act. Now, Felda settlers realize they have been short-changed. The 15,000 is a sweetener to lessen the anger at receiving 810 units of share amounting to around RM 600 gross value in profit. Settlers have been used and piggybacked by rent seekers to make a killing at the stock market.
Najib announces the grant of free tyres to cab drivers is another example of logrolling act aimed at getting votes from tax drivers. The RM 500 assistance after 50 years amounting to RM10 a year of our existence is another sorry example of a logroller. Why the necessity of giving the RM 500 in the first place unless your policies of ameliorating poverty has failed miserably?
Indeed, if one observes carefully, this is how he thinks he solves people’s problems. Providing short-term solutions to long-term problems. Providing snake oil for short-lived relief rather than long-term and longer-living solutions.
So he does the entirely opposite to what the second PM of Malaysia resolved to do — to give people fish instead of providing them the means to fish. So the short-term handing out of the fish will allow recipients to eat once. That, to Najib, is his most effective way of resolving problems.
Public choice theory
I have been receiving comments from one particular individual who has been writing on the subject of public choice theory. I believe this person has done some extensive reading on the subject or he/she is a lecturer at a university teaching that subject.
The issue of public choice has also been studied by economists especially in their attempts to explain how public choices are determined. I am sure readers can read on this subject freely at their own time. I don’t want therefore to impose my own lack of understanding on this subject on them.
Here, I am going to write on my interpretation of one aspect of public choice. Knowing that it’s too risky to allow decisions affecting our lives to be made by a single person or even a legislative body, we need to demand the setting up of institutions to compensate for the inherent weaknesses of the legislator.
We must insist on the setting up of institutions and institutionalised rules and regulations and strict adherence to them to establish respect to law and order. We don’t have strict adherence to them now because the snake oil salesman keeps on moving the goalposts. Otherwise we are going to be manipulated by a maverick and a trickster such as the snake-oil salesman.
We need an institutionalised system even if Pakatan Rakyat takes over to compensate, like I said, for the inherent weaknesses and excesses of the legislator. Decisions are made by a committee or the entire legislative body is a myth, really.
Because decisions are made by individuals and when made by individuals, they reflect invariably their personal motivations and values. Najib’s motives, for example, are purely to seek re-election and to stay on as the worse half of the first couple.
Contrary to popular thinking, the decisions involving the lives of the public (education, business projects) are not determined by the people collectively. We only have the illusion that the legislators we elected before, give form and substance to what we want.
The reality is the choices that eventually affect the lives of the public are made by the select few because of their own self interests. Here is the upshot of the whole theory: When framing the choices that are made out as choices decided upon by the public; it’s done essentially by the lone or select few decision makers.
The choices these people make have nothing to do with the wishes of the general public. They are done mostly to ensuring the longevity of the re-election seeker.
Furthermore, the choices made by the chief decision maker reflect his personal motivations. He is not entirely motivated by the pursuit of public welfare but more by the pursuit of his self-preservation. He trades favours by logrolling. Money in exchange for allegiance and support.
Money to taxi drivers to get their support. The long-term solution of giving direct taxi permits will only be implemented in two years’ time. By that time, the Umno division heads and those proximate to corridors of power would have filled up their bellies. The small morsels will be handed to tax drivers.
Why not now? In two years’ time, some of the taxi drivers may even be dead

A local spiritual leader shocked and devastated his congregants Wednesday when he arrested for allegedly engaging in a two-year sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
The relationship between Gordon Solomon, pastor at Christ's Community Church of LA in Inglewood, Calif., and his young congregant began when the girl was only 12 years old, authorities say.
The 50-year-old pastor allegedly "developed an ongoing affinity" for the girl, which involved exchanging emails and texts of a "sexual nature" and meeting at various locations, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
The young girl's mother discovered one of the explicit text messages from Solomon and immediately called the police. Investigators then determined that the relationship had been going on for two years by tracing back the sexting messages on the girl's phone.
The minister was charged Friday with seven felony counts of committing a lewd act on a child, one felony count of oral copulation of a person under the age of 14 and one felony count of continuous sexual abuse, the District Attorney announced.
If convicted as charged, Solomon -- who is in jail on $3 million bail -- faces a maximum sentence of 26 years and eight month in state prison, the D.A. says. He is expected to make his initial court appearance Friday at the Inglewood Courthouse.
Solomon is married and can be seen happily posing with his wife, Ruth, in the picture above from the church's website. On the site, the church states that its goals include "to help people to grow and learn through mutual support and care" and "to increase awareness of Almighty God and spread the word that Jesus saves."

BACK IN 1994, THE THEN CHIEF MINISTER OF MALACCA, ABDUL RAHIM THAMBY CHIK, WAS REPORTED TO HAVE RAPED A 15-YEAR-OLD SCHOOLGIRL (UNDER MALAYSIAN LAW, SEX WITH A MINOR CONSTITUTES STATUTORY RAPE). LIM GUAN ENG, CURRENTLY THE CHIEF MINISTER OF PENANG AND THE THEN MP FOR KOTA MELAKA, SPOKE OUT AGAINST THE RAPE OF A MINOR AFTER THE GIRL’S GRANDMOTHER-CUM-GUARDIAN, WHO WAS ALSO LIM’S CONSTITUENT, TURNED TO HIM FOR HELP.
15
HOWEVER, FAR FROM DESERVING JUSTICE, BOTH LIM AND THE SCHOOLGIRL RECEIVED THEIR “DUES”. LIM WAS JAILED FOR THREE YEARS FOR SPEAKING UP AGAINST THE RAPE WHILE THE GIRL WAS GIVEN THREE YEARS “PROTECTIVE CUSTODY”. AS FOR RAHIM, BECAUSE OF THE RAPE AND PENDING CORRUPTION CHARGES, HE WAS FORCED TO RESIGN, AFTER A 12-YEAR STINT AS MALACCA’S CHIEF MINISTER.
BUT THE JUDICIARY SAW RAHIM ESCAPE PUNISHMENT FOR A CRIME COMMITTED; THIS CAME ABOUT AFTER THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR WITHDREW THE CHARGE CITING LACK OF EVIDENCE. THE CORRUPTION CHARGES AGAINST RAHIM WERE ALSO DROPPED

KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — PKR Sungai Petani MP Datuk Johari Abdul suggested today that businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay was the mysterious “Datuk T”, and that former Malacca chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik is among those behind the screening of a sex video allegedly featuring Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Johari also accused the two men of attempting to entice him and other PKR MPs to defect after he had viewed the recording, which he said was of a person who only loosely resembled Anwar.
According to Johari, Abdul Rahim had also promised to bring him to see Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak after having viewed the sex video.
Anwar has already accused Najib of being directly involved with the screening of the sex video.
“Rahim told me he wanted to take me to see the prime minister, and that he would take care of all my financial and security needs, should I agree to jump ship.
“He tried to convince me to bring more Keadilan MPs to see him and lead this group to leave PKR,” said Johari.
The PKR MP said he was brought by his uncle, former Umno senator Datuk Shuib Lazim, to Flamingo Hotel in Ampang here on Monday afternoon, just hours after reporters watched the same video and met the mysterious “Datuk T.”
Shuib is also treasurer of Malay rights group Perkasa.
Today, Johari told a press conference that the arrangements for the Monday screening of the sex video at the Carcosa Seri Negara had been made by Abdul Rahim’s special officer.
At Flamingo Hotel, Johari said he was brought to a room where he met Shazryl (right) and Abdul Rahim.
Johari went through extreme lengths to describe in detail the video he had watched.
The former Umno politician said he was convinced the man in the video was not Anwar, after comparing physical attributes of the two.
Johari described the man in the video as having broader shoulders, larger buttocks, and lighter skin tone compared to Anwar’s smaller physique and darker skin. He also said it was impossible to accurately identify the person as the cameras had not zoomed in on the man’s face.
“I am convinced that the person is not Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,” stated Johari.
After watching the video, Johari said he was asked by Abdul Rahim to arrange more screenings for other PKR MPs.
The lawmaker said he was also told by Shazryl that the latter was the primary protagonist behind the video.
“He told me that he was the main character, the person responsible for the video. He said he was the one who got hold of the video.
“Eskay commented on how the person in the video removed the condom after the sex act… he said this was the same thing that happened to boss (Anwar) in 1998,” added Johari.

Intense pressure
Rais, the Jelebu MP, asked that the public not speculate on this allegation pending the outcome of the on-going investigation. However, the PKR-linked group, Malaysian Youth Solidarity, had lodged a police report over the allegation.
Two days after Rais denied the allegation, Najib, after intense pressure, broke his silence only to question the timing of this accusation. A sad day for Malaysia when its prime minister, instead of being troubled by such a serious allegation, chose to be nonchalant, questioning why was the issue raised only now.
But then Najib’s reaction leaves little room for surprise. Was he himself not the man besieged with accusations of having had an affair with a Mongolian translator, Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was later gunned down and her body blown to bits in a jungle at Puncak Alam in Shah Alam in October 2006?
A private detective in his statutory declaration alleged that Najib had “passed” Altantuya to his best friend Abdul Razak Baginda because the former knew he would become prime minister and wanted to avoid shame.
But shame it is because although there were numerous witnesses and evidence connecting Najib to the affair, he was never questioned or put on the witness stand. And like all good wives, Najib’s wife Rosmah Mansor too remained cool as a cucumber throughout the ordeal surrounding Najib and Altantuya.
Travesty of justice
Back in 1994, the then chief minister of Malacca, Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik, was reported to have raped a 15-year-old schoolgirl (under Malaysian law, sex with a minor constitutes statutory rape). Lim Guan Eng, currently the chief minister of Penang and the then MP for Kota Melaka, spoke out against the rape of a minor after the girl’s grandmother-cum-guardian, who was also Lim’s constituent, turned to him for help.
The corruption charges against Rahim were also dropped.
The travesty of justice is such that on Feb 28, 1995, Lim was thrown into jail after he was charged under the Sedition Act for prompting “disaffection with the administration of Malaysia”.
On March 17 the same year, he was slapped with another charge under the Printing Presses and Publications Act for “maliciously printing” a pamphlet containing “false information”, specifically that Lim had used the term “imprisoned victim” to describe the schoolgirl who was raped.
As a result of his trying to seek justice for the rape survivor, Lim was barred from holding public office for five years, making him ineligible to contest in the 2004 general election.
As for the underage rape survivor, she was initially detained for 10 years without parental consent. She was subsequently sentenced to three years “protective custody” in a house for “wayward girls”. During Lim’s trial, the girl gave evidence that she had sex with a minister.
With such lecherous politicians in our midst, the safety of girls and women – be they our sisters, daughters, mothers and foreign female workers – is at risk. There is no telling which politician is waiting to sexually assault the girls and women in this country. What is annoying is the fact that the crime is easily dismissed by threatening and buying the silence of the victim.

Two DVDs showing Dr. Chua Soi Lek at the time a prominent senior politician, and a woman engaging in various sexual antics are being widely circulated in Tangkak, Batu Pahat and on the internet. Chua Soi Lek has admitted he’s the man in the video and resigned from his position as health minister. He identified the woman simply as “a personal friend.”

The DVDs are believed to be closed-circuit television (CCTV) recordings in a hotel suite. However, the hotel’s location and the date of the recording are not known.
The first DVD lasting 56 minutes has footage of four different camera angles of the hotel suite – the bed, living area, entrance to the bathroom and the main door. It purportedly shows Dr Chua Soi Lek and woman entering the room separately.
The second DVD lasting 44 minutes is said to show the couple engaged in sex acts on the bed.
Those who claim to have seen the two DVDs said they were convinced the man in the DVDs was the prominent politician based on his gait and mannerisms. The existence of the DVD was first reported in the Chinese dailies on Sunday while a Bahasa Malaysia daily reported about it.
News of the two DVDs are also being circulated widely on the Internet, adding to the controversy. Sources said the lurid DVDs were now difficult to obtain, as those holding them fear that the police would act against those distributing and being in possession of the DVDs.
The DVDs, with the name of the politician on them, were first reportedly left at various locations in Muar on Saturday for people to pick up. Some copies were also said to be distributed to shops in the town.
To deter those who wanna bag in some bucks from Chua Soi Lek video, the Malaysian policehas warned:
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said no police report had been lodged yet over the DVDs.
However, I urge the reporter with the newspaper that initially broke the story to come forward. We need to know how he came across the DVD,” he told TV3.
Bernama quoted Batu Pahat district chief Asst Comm Ibrahim Mohd Aris as advising those in possession of the DVDs to surrender them to the authorities.
He warned that anyone found in possession of the DVDs or caught distributing copies of them could be charged under Section 292 of the Penal Code and sentenced to three years’ jail or fined, or both.
