Nazri, the almost son in law of Mahathir and wannabe

Nazri, the almost son in law of Mahathir and wannabe

"And anecdotal evidence so far suggests that Nazri and his ilk could end up on the losing side more often than not."
You are wrong ! Matter of fact ,Nazri's honesty would spur the revival of a strong UMNO. The mood would catch on among Nazri's peers and the mostly non corrupted grassroot members to call a spade a spade, which would be the driving force to rid of the old guards. There maybe a temporary split, but the good would overcome the crooks the likes of Mahathir ,the 2MM,the rapist CM. UMNO would regain its stature after this major house cleaning. The pressure is ON.

The ongoing battle between Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is more than just the explosion of personal animosity between the two antagonists.
On the subject at least of the quarrel between the two men — the controversial Biro Tata Negara (BTN) — Nazri represents the more enlightened part of Umno.

They are the ones who believe the genie is out of the bottle and that the old repressive ways of the old Dr Mahathir administration cannot work anymore.

Nazri said as much this week when he kept repeating the point that there was no point in pretending that BTN courses were not a hotbed of racism.

After all, participants of the course — many of them Malays — have been openly listing down examples of racist propaganda spewed by facilitators of the programme.

On the other hand, those who back Dr Mahathir represent the group that believes the relative openness of the Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi years was a disaster, especially for Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN).

Many of them have pointed to BN's disastrous showing in Elections 2008 as an example.

They argue that the only way for Umno to regain its stature is by beating down any opposition to its policies.

And for a primer on how to do that, there is no better example than the authoritarian style of Dr Mahathir.

Those who back Dr Mahathir believe that the only way to maintain some order for Umno is to ensure the mainstream press blacks out certain news items, such as Nazri's original remark that Dr Mahathir was a "bloody racist".

Umno-owned newspapers did not initially report the spat, but The Star, the country's biggest newspaper owned by Umno's partner MCA, did.

And for reporting on Nazri's original remarks, The Star has now come under attack from pro-Dr Mahathir blogs.

The newspaper is being accused by those who back Dr Mahathir as a Chinese-owned newspaper trying to take advantage of Umno's relative weakness.

The blogs and many of the hawks in Umno are also pushing for Nazri to be removed from Cabinet and the party's supreme council.

The friction between the more enlightened leaders in Umno and the conservatives is probably the last thing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak needs.

Najib is trying to focus his efforts on steering the economy out of trouble. He is banking on a return to robust growth by next year to win back public support.

Rows such as those between Nazri and Dr Mahathir will be significant distractions.

But the BTN issue will be the first of many battles between the more open-minded members and the right wing.

And anecdotal evidence so far suggests that Nazri and his ilk could end up on the losing side more often than not.

in the hope that they will eventually lose all will to live and commit suicide.

THEY ARE READY FOR A NEW MALAYSIA, WITH NEW APPROACHES, NEW PLAYERS, NEW MINDSET, NEW RULES, NEW WHATEVER THAT ARE NECESSARY AS WE GO ALONG THE PATH OF THE NATION'S GROWTH IN THIS NEW GLOBAL WILDERNESS.

WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THE CORRUPTION AND MONEY POLITICS AND THE OLD WILY POLITICIANS WHO ARE PAST THEIR "USED BY" DATES, ETC., ETC., AND WHO HAD OVERSTAYED IN THEIR COSY CORNERS AND BECOME DEADWOODS AND LIABILITIES, AS YOU HAD POINTED OUT ON OCCASIONS.

WHETHER PR OR ANY OTHER ENTITIES COME TO RUN THE NATION IS IMMATERIAL AS LONG AS THERE ARE INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY, COMPETENCY, ETC., ETC.

THE NATION IS NOT DEVOID OF CAPABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY MALAYSIANS, WHETHER THEY ARE MALAY, CHINESE, INDIANS, IBANS, KADAZAN-DUSUN, DAYAKS, ORANG ASLI ( THE TRUE BUMIPUTERA ),ETC., ETC., READY TO ANSWER THE CALL OF NATIONAL SERVICE.

JUST LIKE YOURSELF, WHEN YOU WERE A YOUNG AND EAGER SOUL BACK IN THE "GOOD OLD DAYS", THE ELDERS HAD THEIR DOUBTS TOO ABOUT THE YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED. NOW AS YOU ARE IN THAT WISE GOLDEN AGE, WE CANNOT BLAME YOU TO HAVE YOUR RESERVATIONS AND DOUBTS, WHICH IS NATURAL.

JUST AS YOU HAD WRITTEN SOMEWHERE TOO, THAT IN POLITICS THERE ARE NO PERMANENT FRIENDS OR FOES. THE SAME APPLIES TO DAP, PAS, PKR, OR JUST ANY OTHER PARTIES. JUST LIKE YOU THEY COULD CHANGE THEIR "SLEEPING PARTNERS" TOO. DON'T DENY OTHERS WHAT OTHERS DID NOT DENY YOU, TUN!

RELIGIOUS AND WORLDLY KNOWLEDGE EVOLVE AND CHANGE ACCORDING TO NEW WISDOMS AND CIRCUMSTANCES. WHAT YOU DID NOT SEE, HEAR OR FEEL IN YOUR EARLY DAYS ARE STARK REALITIES NOW. DULU LAIN, SEKARANG LAIN. WE HAVE TO ADAPT TO CHANGES, DON'T WE? OR ELSE WE WOULD FOREVER BE CAUGHT IN THE "COMFORT" OF OUR TEMPURUNG, WHICH IS COUNTER PROGRESSIVE AND PRODUCTIVE, AS YOU WOULD CONCUR, TUN.

LET THE YOUNG RUN THE SHOW, TUN. FOR BETTER, OR FOR WORSE, WE MOVE AS ONE MALAYSIAN. "OPPOSITION" IS NOT SUCH A DIRTY WORD AS YOU MIGHT HAVE IMAGINED; JUST AS "FAMILIARITY" DO SOMETIMES BREED CONTEMPT! "OPPOSITION WILL MAKE MALAYSIA WORSE" IS SUCH AN OLD AND TRIED WAY OF TELLING BN THAT PR IS A REAL THREAT! THE "OPPOSITION", WHOEVER THEY ARE, TAKE THIS AS A COMPLIMENT!

THE POWER OF THE BALLOT IS ALSO THE WISDOM OF THE ELECTORATES. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE INTELLIGENCE AND ABILITY OF THE RAKYAT. IF THEY COULD BE "FOOLISH" TO HAVE KEPT BN FOR SO LONG, THEY COULD IN THE SAME BREATH, BE "WISE" TO CHOOSE THE OPPOSITION. THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH WE COULD DO, GOD ALSO HAS HIS PLANS.
MAN PROPOSES, GOD DISPENSES.

TUN MAHARACIALISTHIR

BASICALLY, THE MESSAGE OF GE12 IS THAT THE RAKYAT HAD HAD ENOUGH OF BN-UMNO RULE AFTER 52 YEARS. WANTED TO THROW MY SHOE AT SI MAHATIR SO BADLY. THE NEXT TIME YOU SEE SOMEONE THROWING A SHOE AT HIM, THAT'S ME!85-YEAR-OLD SENILE OLD MAN DELIVERED A LECTURE ENTITLED “DARI MINDA TUN, KETUANAN MELAYU” (FROM TUN’S MIND, MALAY SUPREMACY) AT DEWAN ASPIRASI UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UITM) TERENGGANU HERE.ALSO PRESENT WAS UITM VICE CHANCELLOR, TAN SRI PROF DR IBRAHIM ABU SHAH.FIRST CORRECTIVE MEASURE THAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS, IS TO CONVICT YOU OF THE CRIMES THAT YOU, HAD COMMITTED TOWARDS THIS COUNTRY. YOU MAYBE KNOWN AS "BAPA KEMODENAN", BUT I THINK MANY PEOPLE WOULD ALSO AGREE, THAT YOU ARE ALSO BAPA RASUAH.

A BIGGER HYPOCRITE THAN YOU COULDN'T BE FOUND IN THIS LAND PRESENTLY; NOT NAZRI, NOT NAJIB, NOT RAIS YATIM, NO, NOT EVEN KERIS-MUDIN. FROM THE TIME YOU CAUSED PROBLEMS IN 69 TO THIS DAY, SOMEHOW YOU SEEM TO ALWAYS COME BACK AND SPEW VENOM. A MAN'S DESTINY WOULD EITHER BE ORDAINED BY GOD, OR, BE GUIDED BY THE DEVIL. TUN IS FLATLY WRONG. MALAYSIA CANNOT AFFORD TO CONTINUE TO HAVE THE SAME KIND OF GOVERNMENT WHERE BLATANT RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IS SANCTION BY THE GOVERNMENT. WE NEED NEW THINKING TO MAKE MALAYSIA MOVE FORWARD IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS!

I NOTICE THAT IN ALMOST EVERY REPORT/ANALYSIS ON BAGAN PINANG, MALAYSIAN INSIDER ALWAYS MENTIONS THE STRONG POSSIBILITY OF ISA SAMAD WINNING AND THUS UMNO ENDING PR'S WINNING STREAK. WHAT MAKES YOU SO SURE UMNO AND ISA GOING TO WIN? AFTER 2008 POLITICAL TSUNAMI, NO UMNO STRONGHOLD IS SAFE ANYMORE. MI HAS STOOPED SO LOW IN EXPOSING ITSELF AS AN UMNO PROPAGANDIST TOOL, DELIBERATELY MENTIONING "ENDING PR WINNING STREAK" SO AS TO INFLUENCE VOTERS' MIND. YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN UMNO SAYING A LIE 1000 TIMES SO THAT IT EVENTUALLY APPEARS TO BE A TRUTH. SHAME ON YOU.THERE IS ONLY ONE THING WISH TO DO BEFORE I DIE; I WANTED TO THROW MY SHOE AT SI MAHATIR SO BADLY. THE NEXT TIME YOU SEE SOMEONE THROWING A SHOE AT HIM, THAT'S ME!LOOKING AT THE VENOM YOU HAVE BEEN SPEWING, THE ISA THAT YOU STRENGTHENED, THE UMNO/BN CORRUPTION THAT TODAY IS SO EMBOLDENED THAT, SO MUCH SO THAT THE CURRENT PM CAN CALL IT A "TECHNICALITY" WITHOUT ANY REMORSE OR SENSE OF EMBARASSMENT....

I AM INCLINED TO BELIEVE THAT THE SAME DEVIL THAT WAS BEHIND THE LIKES OF HITLER OR IDI AMIN, INSPIRES YOU. WHY, THE VERY FACT THAT YOU ARE PROUD OF WHAT YOU THINK YOU HAVE ACHIEVED IN ALL YOUR YEARS, MAKES IT ALL THE MORE COMPELLING THAT YOU MUST HAVE SOME FORM OF INFERNAL INSPIRATION!

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT MAHATHIR?

I THINK BEHIND ALL THAT "MEGA" LOOK THAT YOU SEEM TO PROJECT, YOU ARE REALLY A COWARD. NO MORE THAN THE JAGUH KAMPUNG - THAT YOU ARE. YOU HIDE BEHIND YOUR POSITIONAL SECURITY, BY VIRTUE THAT YOU WERE THE EX-PM (AND ALSO THE FACT THAT YOU ARE AN UMNO MEMBER), TO AVOID BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL YOUR MIS-DEEDS. I DO REMEMBER THOUGH, THAT FOR AWHILE, YOU SEEMED TO BE SHAKING IN YOUR PANTS WHEN THE VK LINGAM EPISODE BUSRT ONTO THE SCENE; BUT EVENTUALLY, OUR GUTLESS RIP VAN WINKLE OF AN EX PM DIDN'T HAVE THE STOMACH TO RUN THE DISTANCE. ANY OTHER PART OF THE WORLD, AND YOU HAVE WOULD BEEN ROTTING IN JAIL. WHY, AS YOU LIKE TO REMIND US OF THE JAPS WHOM YOU "ADMIRE" SO MUCH - A DISGRACED LEADER WOULD HAVE COMMITTED HARA-KIRI. BUT THERE YOU ARE, RIDING INTO THE SUNSET......

GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU.

Mahathir further explained that Malaysia could ill-afford leaders who were inconsistent in their stand just for the sake of gaining popularity.

“It is just the same with another leader who is a now a strong supporter of Hindraf (the banned Hindu Rights Action Force movement),” he said without naming who he was referring to.

But the acerbic Mahathir recently had run-ins with MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, saying that his former ally should retire from politics and blaming him for BN’s loss in Election 2008.

Commenting on the future of Umno, the backbone of the BN, he said the party was still relevant but its leaders and members must be wise and brave in taking “corrective measures”.

“If a leader does something that is not good, they must voice out...I laud the appointment of Senator Datuk Seri Idris Jala as Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department. There should be more appointments from outside the party in government leadership positions,” he said.

Idris’s appointment has raised the ire of Umno and Sarawak Barisan Nasional lawmakers who feel that they should have been consulted over the move. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has said the appointment is to ensure better governance.

In his speech, Dr Mahathir urged bumiputera students to be brave in competing with other races, including in pursuing higher education in private tertiary institutions that were not dominated by bumiputeras like UiTM.

They should prove their ability to compete by enrolling in institutions like Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman, he added.

Taib Mahmud: Anwar's credibility doubtful

even though enemies has spurred false rumors and insinuations about his background and CAN WE THE MALAYSIAN PEOPLE RISE TO THE OCCASSION WHEN THE NATION NEEDS US?
CAN MALAYSIA DEPEND ON US? we kick them out it a symbol of his singularity and ofMalaysians possibility

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that MALAYSIA is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of anwar is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, TODAY is your answer."

Turning deficits into assets — a skill Mr. Anwar learned in his 20s as a community organizer — could well be called the motto of his rise. With his literary gifts, he transformed himself into a stirring coming-of-age tale. He used ABIM post as the foundation of his political career. He mobilized young people — never an ideal base, because of thin wallets and historically poor turnout — into an energetic army who in turn enlisted parents and grandparents. And even though enemies has spurred false rumors and insinuations about his background and beliefs, he has made it a symbol of his singularity and of Malaysians possibility.“To those MALAYSIAN whose support I have yet to earn,” he said, “I may not have won your CONFIDENDENCE but I hear your voice but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your prime minister too.”(in waiting)“moment, change has come toMalaysiaAlamak! What findings do you want to challenge, you bunch of corrupted bastards!

Mr AG, can the rakyat see you acting as fast on this case as you did with various other cases? For example, the case of R
Getting news like this when a by-election is just around the corner makes one wonder whether all this is really good to be true. BN’smust win election gimmick? Hmmmm…….

It is due to Anwar's ingenius mind that crafted this unique unity of the 3 odd components, each bearing contrasting characteristic traits of its own....

......The battle has been won, and it is time to get back to serious work. Instead of fighting over the spoils of the war, PR members are seen busy tackling the messy heaps of garbage left behind by previous state government.

I am sending a message across to all my beloved Malaysians: PR representatives are eager to right the wrong for the people. The members truly request the rakyat shall continue to trust and support their mission: to uphold justice for all!!

Whether Anwar becomes PM is immaterial. As long as rakyat's welfare and rights are well-protected that really matters...

So, please dear all, sometimes we need to look at a picture from a different angle to receive a better view for the mind to perceive.

Anwar is not a perfect man, he is no angel, and NEITHER ARE WE !!!

But he is honest enough to fight on our behalf. What do we expect of a man who is willing to climb the many mountains in search of truth and justice for mankind!!!!

Anwar has been jail. His reputation has been tarnish. His family has been humiliated by none other than that super ego-maniac Mahathir Mohammad. The liar and the thief is having the glorious time of the year at the moment.

Anwar has done very much for Malaysia. He deserves every respect from all of us. But Anwar should stop going gung-ho on taking over the goverment. Focus on strengthening the alliance and maintain power for the upcoming years.

For the next GE, DAP must maintain Penang. PKR must maintan Selangor. PAS, DAP, PKR must maintain Perak. These 3 states has to be the showcase to all Malaysians and the whole of Asia that the PR can do a much much much much more better job than those BN farkers.

Eventually Sarawak and Sabah will follow suit. Then at last, Malaysia will regain their true independence value since Tunku .WHEN Raja Nazrin Shah, the Crown Prince of Perak, burst onto the public scene in early 2006, he said, “Malaysians of all races and religions need to believe beyond the shadow of a doubt that they have a place under the Malaysian sun.” Not long after, people started to repeat the phrase “colour blind”, an apt prescription for any racist tendencies among us. ime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi seems to have caught on. Addressing the Malaysian Student Leaders’ Summit held on 2 and 3 Aug 2008, he said the civil service is colour blind. Had I the opportunity (I am, after all, no longer a student), I would have asked a more pressing question: could he also kindly confirm to us that government policies are similarly colour blind?

Over the past 37 years, systematic positive discrimination has seeped into almost all layers of public life in sectors such as education, the economy, civil service, and the corporate, among others.that government policies are inconsistent. It is idiosyncratic to simultaneously promote unity on the one hand and positive discrimination on the basis of race on the other.
